Work Permit / Visa and LMIA

To Work in Canada, a foreign national need a work permit. Super Visa

The Super Visa is for parents and grandparents who wish to visit their children or grandchildren in Canada.

This visit visa is valid for up to 10 years and allows the applicant to remain in Canada for up to 24 months at a time.

Caregivers

Caregivers who live abroad and meet the requirements to come to Canada belong to the temporary residents Category, however if they meet certain requirements, after they settle in Canada, they can become Permanent Residents.  
 
Caregivers who are in Canada can apply for permanent residence and open work permit that allow them to keep working for the same employer or find other employment.
